Community Volunteers spend a couple of weeks
preparing fishing poles for kids to go to La Paz
County Park and fish in the Lagoon. The Lagoon is
stocked with lots of fish and netted off so almost
every kid catches a fish. Lot’s of fun.

Rockin’ the River Theme
Get a Tube and a
lifejacket and float about 8 miles down the Colorado
River to the blue Water Resort & Casino! Meet lots
of different folks from all over and have a great
time. Prizes for many different categories of
“floaters”. Big beach party at Casino Beach area.
Don’t forget waterproof sunscreen. This is a huge
event. Last year, we had 1200 registered floaters.
